I'm SO Dead in a Few Years

Gen's latest love is hot chocolate. She asks for it constantly. Yesterday she wanted some for lunch. I told her no, because she had already had some for breakfast (she has a nice Dad). "Mom how did you know I had some for breakfast?", she asks with squinted eyes.  "I saw your empty cup." Without a pause she adds "I better clean those up faster next time huh." What am I going to do when she doesn't tell me her evil schemes? I'm going to be in trouble, big trouble.

Whew!

I'm not going to lie, a month visit in Provo with the fam, was incredibly awesome. We saw so many friends and family, ate at some pretty sweet spots we had been missing and saw Russ for more than 15 minutes a day. Although Russ did join us a week later and had to make a school trip out to Silicon Valley we saw him a lot and we ALL liked it! We even made a trip out to good old Disneyland. It was a soggy, uncrowded times. I seriously felt like I was suddenly an aquatic being. It seriously never stopped the whole five days we were there. Here are some selected photos from the adventure. (Let's hope my mom posts some of hers because they are much better.)

Disneyland Christmas '10

Christmas Eve- Gen did get new Jammies, but she refused to wear them, for reasons only known to Gen.

Really??!

This is what Durham, NC looks like when they cancel school, work, everything! I kid you not-fast food was even closed and Costco looked like a graveyard. In all my days, school in Utah was NEVER closed for snow. Even when the bus crashed into a fence and a runner at the bottom of the hill, we were expected to forge ahead and get there. So when there is blue sky, a slight covering of snow/ice and the roads are clear, it is dumbfounding to see such drastic action. I know what you are all thinking, "I should move there". And you should.
